A group of Canadians have been busy with a special project: weaving sleeping mats from recycled milk bags.

The Orchestra Néo-Apostolique de Lubumbashi (O.N.A.L.) was established three years ago and has made good use of the time since. The orchestra gave its first public performance on the occasion of the Chief Apostle’s visit on 15 July 2017. And it was a resounding success.

The Chief Apostle will conduct a divine service in Thika (Kenya) on 30 June. He will also celebrate the divine service for the departed in this East African country. The brothers and sisters have high expectations.

An appeal of a special kind: Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider is constantly striving to keep an eye on the younger generation of the Church. This was not only part of his Pentecost sermon in Vienna, but also applies to the teaching materials that will be used in the various levels of Church instruction.

He wowed the audience. “Fantastic interpretation” is what people said in the congregations and on the social networks. And always the same question: who is this guy who worked so hard during the Pentecost service?

“Here I am”—the website for the International Youth Convention of the New Apostolic Church in Düsseldorf (Germany) has gone online two years early. The website and an app will provide news and information around the upcoming youth event.

“Here I am!” is the motto of the International Youth Convention (IYC) 2019. Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider announced the motto at the end of the Pentecost service.

Riveting, entertaining, and of an exceptional standard: these superlatives best describe the 2017 Pentecost concert in Vienna. The concert in the unique ambience of the Wiener Konzerthaus was not only a feast for the ears.

The stalls, the boxes, the lower and upper galleries … the Vienna Concert Hall was filled to the last seat. “We invite you to have an encounter with Jesus through music,” Franz Jochum, the musical director and conductor, said to the audience at the beginning of the concert.

For the first time this year, the District Apostles and their assistants will meet for a conference. This time, Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider has invited them to Vienna (Austria). The focus will be on the New Apostolic conception of ministry.

Pentecost in Vienna has what it takes to create milestones. So also in 1990, a year that went down in New Apostolic history. Besides being the first international conference of Apostles it was also the first international transmission of a Pentecost service. Follow us on a journey through time.

Ten satellites and eleven ground stations will make it possible: on Pentecost, the New Apostolic Church around the world will edge closer to one another and form one large congregation. And in the process the central divine service will return to the place of its roots.
