The gospel is not just about going to church and singing pious hymns. Spreading the glad tidings also includes taking on responsibility for people in need. Here are three projects we would like to showcase:

April is just around the corner. Time to ask yourself: do you really believe what you believe? This month really has it all: it is high season for Christians. The calendar is packed. Palm Sunday, Good Friday, and Easter are all coming up.

They are considered the New Apostolic heart of Africa: Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Malawi. It was on this date 100 years ago that one of the region's founding fathers was born: District Apostle Fernandes. But which one? After all, there are no less than three of them.

A city that was founded twice, and a region that was once the focal point of a struggle for independence: these are the two travel destinations on Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider's upcoming trip to Argentina.

“Speak to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs.” Based loosely on Ephesians 5: 19, religions and various denominations are moving closing together to promote a common cause, and right in there is the New Apostolic Church.

“We have already accomplished a great deal,” summarises Rainer Storck, the hosting District Apostle of the International Youth Day (IYD). “We have a rough outline of events and have defined the participant groups.”

A proverb says that many cooks spoil the broth. Good networking proves the contrary. This week, nac.today presents a successful new project, an unusual idea, and a countdown.

“Reconciliation is not so simple,” Apostle Rolf Wosnitzka from Erfurt in Thuringia (Germany) says. Together with others he was instrumental in bringing the reconciliation process between the New Apostolic Church and the Apostolic Community forward. How did this come about?

Bengaluru Central, a congregation in the south of India, is as dynamic and diverse as the megacity itself. In addition to local members, the congregation often welcomes visitors from abroad.

In 1921 they separated, in 2017 they reconciled: a reconciled co-existence was at the core of the prayer service attended by both the Apostolic Community and the New Apostolic Church.

The Equator cuts right through the Indonesian island of Borneo. And situated directly on this imaginary line—where there is little seasonal variation in the climate, incidentally—is the New Apostolic congregation of Pontianak.

Is a Christian allowed to be uncompromising? Yes, says the Chief Apostle. In fact, sometimes he has to be! Following are concrete examples from a divine service, which gives insight into a somewhat different world.

There is a good chance that the seeds for the mustard we spread on our hot dogs come from the province of Saskatchewan. On 12 March 2017 the international leader of the New Apostolic Church will visit this Canadian Prairie province.

Together they were strong. But conflicts and a resulting dispute led to a split: Chief Apostle Hermann Niehaus and Apostle Carl August Brückner, who was born 145 years ago today.

Paying reverence and honour is a fine thing, but it also involves risks. District Apostle Rüdiger Krause from Germany has a clear answer to the question: “Who deserves honour?””

They established the Church, often under enormous difficulties. And we have not forgotten the founders, fathers, and pioneers of the New Apostolic congregations around the globe. A selection of news items that remind us of bygone times.

A good product that costs nothing? Unthinkable in a free market economy. But this is exactly what God offers: His salvation. It cannot be bought, it is a gift. This is what the New Apostolic services in March will be about.

A population of twelve million in the city proper, and twenty million in the metropolitan area: São Paulo is the largest city in South America. And how do New Apostolic Christians live there?
