How the Divine Service Guide is created
The making of the divine services for 2017 has begun—at least for nearly 30 Apostles from around the world. They are the writers of the Divine Service Guide, which is distributed to nearly 200,000 New Apostolic ministers around the world. The go-ahead was given at a recent authors’ workshop.

In fact, the world is so big and colourful that what seems normal for us may appear novel and perhaps a little unusual for someone else somewhere else. One church, many cultures … This was only one of the aspects under which the New Apostolic Church—which is active in nearly all countries worldwide—presented itself at the Evangelical Church Convention in Stuttgart, the largest such gathering in Germany. On the agenda were not only spiritual topics, but also humanitarian aid and the promotion of education.

Snapshots from Zambia (3)
“It would be great to have Pentecost in Zambia every year!” is what a sister said after the concert in our central church in Lusaka on Saturday. The church offers room for about 3,000 people, but nearly 4,000 were in the church. The audience was thrilled. At the end of the concert there was no stopping the choir and instrumentalists. They just kept on singing and dancing.

“Pentecost is a feast of joy celebrating the presence and activity of the Holy Spirit in the church of Christ.” This was the message that Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider conveyed during the central Pentecost service in Lusaka in Zambia.
